Ceres were invited by Company Place to be part of an enlightened and sustainable collaboration with Lola Lely of Wax Atelier.

Ceres interpreted the artwork, made during community workshops with Alisa Ruzavina and Hayley Caine. Six designs, transformed into banners. Six iterations of each.

This low-waste, local manufacturing project sought to minimise the environmental impact of a large-scale art installation in the public realm. The patterns included motifs inspired by natural and architectural features of the local area.

Ceres used locally grown, foraged, and bio-waste ingredients for the dyes. They explored colour representation by experimented with ph. and overprinting the dyes.
