In the studio we teach how to make rich and luminous natural dye colour to screen-print designs onto fabric. Immersive and creative, with bijoux class sizes.
Participants learn to extract dye colour from plants, make into print-pastes, and screen-print onto a range of materials. Design and experimentation with shapes and pattern becomes an integral part of the experience, as the printed colours metamorphose in response to each other. The small class size ensures plenty of opportunities to discuss and learn more about this alluring way of printing. The session ends with a mini exhibition.
